Changes To Your Facebook Business Page Are Coming August 24, 2018!

Don’t worry. Nothing too scary, but this is important to know!
You may recall that Facebook recently DECREASED the reach of organic (unpaid) posts on company pages. If you missed out on the breakdown we provided, you can check it out right here. In a nutshell, Facebook is trying to make its user experience more personal and less business-oriented. This means that boosted posts and strategic Facebook Ads are more important than ever to reach and grow your audience.
Facebook is, however, trying to keep the user experience strong for those who DO want to connect with local businesses, and that involves a few changes.
Facebook Business Page Templates Are Changing at the End of August
The template, or layout, of your page will be automatically changed on August 24, 2018. If you don’t manually select the template of your choice, FB will choose one for you that it thinks is the best fit for your specific services. Essentially, Facebook wants to help visitors to your page connect more easily with you, and QUICKLY access the info they need. This includes your business’ Story, company hours, messaging, etc.
How Will This Impact YOU?
Well, if you’re an A David Creation client, we’ll make sure your page is looking its best.
If you aren’t working with us, we would recommend that you familiarize yourself with your page again (we know that life and work gets in the way sometimes!), and ensure that your page’s contact info, services, and vital information is current and in place.
There’s huge potential to make your Facebook business page a successful tool and lead generator, but this does require a little techie elbow grease. It’s worth it!
